We welcome families, groups, and individuals to experience regenerative farming, premium cherries, and breathtaking mountain views.
The 2027 U-Pick schedule will be released after the cherry blossoms appear in May. Our U-Pick season runs during the last two weeks of July.

Pricing
Flathead cherries are $4 per pound. A $5 booking fee covers you and your entire group.

Cherrywood Orchard is open to the public only during U-Pick season, which typically runs from mid to late July. We are not open outside of harvest season.

Yes. Please book your U-Pick time in advance. Reservations help us manage orchard space and ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for everyone. If you need help making a reservation or do not see a time that works with your schedule, please call us at 406-692-6011.

Cherrywood Orchard is located halfway down the east side of Flathead Lake, about 20 minutes south of Bigfork and 25 minutes north of Polson.

Yes. Parking is available in our small lot near the orchard entrance, with easy access for cars and small trucks. Please note: no campers, trailers, or RVs.

We primarily grow Skeena cherries—large, dark red, and exceptionally flavorful. We often get asked about Rainiers and pie cherries. Of our more than 800 trees, we have just 2 Rainier trees and 1 pie cherry tree.

You are welcome to bring your own picking bucket or borrow one of ours. We recommend wearing a hat and sunglasses and bringing a water bottle.

After picking, head just two minutes down the road to Yellow Bay State Park to enjoy the beauty of Flathead Lake. Nearby Woods Bay also offers several restaurants, a convenience store, a gas station, and an alternative swimming spot at the Woods Bay Fishing Access Site.
